Fox trot, anyone?
The first cool days of the season have me thinking of Halloween…..These two vintage masks from my collection beg the question: What to be?
It has been a busy start of summer and the first 90 degree day has hit the city….
I have found some time to catch up on projects and add some more items to stores. Sales have actually been ok the last few weeks. It is nice to see other people think Christmas at this time of the year……
Take some time to celebrate and remember the ones who served….
Have a great weekend!
I haven’t posted in a long time, but I have been busy adding a few more wreaths to my first Etsy store and setting up a new one called “Haunted Lamp Vintage.” This new store focuses on vintage Holiday ornaments, decorations, and ephemera. I decided that it was best to keep the craft endeavors separate from the collectible items. It seemed less jumbled to me….
The photo above shows a few of the the items currently or soon to be in the store. Remember….smart people think ahead- only 200+ plus days until Christmas.
Presented for your viewing pleasure is my “antiquey” tree. I originally found a very tall and narrow white tree and thinned out the branches a bit before covering it in mica. I recently added the inexpensive gold trees on the sides for ornament overflow. I am always rearranging, fixing, or finding ornaments and it is nice to have a place ready to go to hang them. The large tree can be tricky to navigate as it is quite full and covered in tinsel. As you can see, this grouping continues my simple color palette of white, gold, silver, clear, and “faded”…
Presented for your viewing pleasure are a few more vintage wrapping paper patterns from the archives….
